Allison Services Set for Thursday, Assembly of God
Theodore Allison, 81, died at 12:05 a.m. Christmas morning at the family home in Carnegie after a month's illness. He suffered a stroke in 1946 and had been in poor health since.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Assembly of God church with Rev. J.C. Konkler, pastor, and Rev. Gene Wilkerson of cement in charge. Burial will be in the Fort Cobb cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Pitcher Funeral Home.
Born June 28, 1870, at Lecoma, Mo., Allison was married to Alice Rhea at Lecoma Feb. 8, 1893. They came to Oklahoma and Caddo county in October. 1908. They lived at Anadarko. Fort Cobb, Gracemont and other county points. Since October, 1927, they have made their home in Carnegie. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Alice Allison of the home; five daughters, Mrs,. Julia Bishop, Mrs. Cordelia A. Scott and Mrs. Lillian Blood, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Mauderdine Smith, Jal, N.M., and Mrs. Audra McClure,
Hobart; four sons, J.Fred Allison, Kermit, Texas; Fait Allison, Ardmore; Rhea Allison, Buckeye, Ariz., and ted Allison, Carnegie; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Huntley, Nucla, Colo.; Mrs. Lula Light, Rolla, Mo., and Mrs. Minerva McCown, St. Louis, and four brothers, Will, Mason City, Ill.; Homer, Kansas City, Kan.; Elmer, Lecoma, Mo., and Clarence, St. Louis. Also surviving are 39 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
