In December 1916 Leona, called Belle, may have married Jack Morton.
In November 1936 Belle was living at 419 South 5th, Memphis, Texas and was working at Pounds Cafe.
In July 1965 Belle (Bell?) was living in/near Hammon, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Hammon Ackleys' two sisters, Mrs. Robert Hester of Sayre and Mrs. Buster Stahl and Mrs.Stahl of Elk City, gave her a surprise birthday dinner Sunday, November 14. They brought her gifts and turkey and dressing with all the trimmings.
Another sister, Miss E. S. Foust and brother, Harmon (Shorty) Alexander of Colorado, called to wish Mrs. Ackley a happy birthday.

In February 1975 living in/near Sayre, Oklahoma.
In October 1977 Belle was living in/near Elk City, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Ackley's Rites Monday

Belle Alexander Ackley was born Nov., 14, 1899, in Indian(sic) Territory, what is now Roger Mills County, and died in a Sayre Nursing Home Friday morning at the age of 78.
She had made her home in the Elk City and Sayre area the early part of her life. In 1939 she was married to Hammon Ackley and he preceded her in death in 1975. They had owned and operated a restaurant in Pacific Grove, Calif., for some 40 years. They returned to Elk City in 1965. She joined the Methodist Church many years ago and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Elk City. She had been living at the Town Hall Estates the past few years.
Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include 4 sisters: Mrs. Ara Foust of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Lois Hester of Sayre, Mrs. Halcyon Henry of Joplin, Mo., and Mrs. Truley Peterson of Oklahoma City.
Friends may call by the Martin funeral Home until 2 p.m. Monday. Private funeral services for the family will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday with Rev. Glenn Millard officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
