ALLEN Fred Harmon, born Aug. 8, 1933 in Cogar, Ok. Graduated from Minco High School class of 1951. Married Glenda Joyce Brumfield June 12, 1952 in Okla. City. Served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. Employed by Scrivner Foods for 40 years. A member of Tulakes Baptist Church, past president of Allied Food Club, and a member of Okla. City Elks Lodge 417. Survived by 2 sons, Fred Michael Allen and wife, Debbie of Highland Village, Tx., Mitchell Glen Allen and wife, Sherrie of Piedmont, Ok.; daughter, Michelle Lynn Schroeder and husband, Alan of Fredricksburg, Va.; mother, Leona Fowler; brothers, Robert Allen of Cogar, Ok. and Virgil Allen of Moore, Ok.; sisters, Rita Anthony of Cogar and Linda Merritt of Weatherford, Ok. Preceded in death by father, John V. Allen, Sr. and brother, John V. Allen, Jr. He was a loving father, a loving husband, a great grandfather and best friend to all. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fred Allen Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 336, Piedmont, Ok. 73078. Services will be Wednesday, April 14, at 10:00 a.m., at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church with the Rev. Emery Dye, pastor of Snowhill Baptist Church, officiating.
