Thelma Sue Abbott
Wagoner--Services for Thelma Sue Abbott, 64, who died Monday in Independence, Missouri, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hersman Chapel with Reverend Wayne Nauger officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Abbott was born May 9, 1911, in Wagoner and attended and graduated from high school here. After graduation, she attended Licensed Practical Nursing School in Vinita where she received her license. She moved from Wagoner to Miami in 1936 and from Miami to Oklahoma City in 1959. She moved to Independence in December 1974.
Survivors include a son, Dwight Abbott of Miami; a daughter, Mrs. Sue Wilson of Independence; three grandhildren; a great-grandchild, and three brothers, Carlton Geurin of Wagoner and Chester Geurin, both of Oklahoma City.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
