EATON—William Mitchel Eaton was born at Preston, Iowa, May 20, 1866, and died at Shawnee, Okla., on Aug. 6, 1934, at the age of 68 years, 2 months, and 17 days. His death resulted from a short illness of four days caused by an attack of acute appendicitis.
In 1887 he was united in marriage with Cordelia M. Bapp. To this union were born seven children, two of which preceded the father in death. He leaves to morn their loss his wife and five children: Ezra M. Eaton, Mrs. L. A. Bickman, Elwin G. Eaton, Mrs. W. 0. Batson, and Miss Loma Eaton.
The funeral services were held in the Dora school house near the farm where he had lived. He was laid to rest in the Dora
cemetery to await the call of the Life Giver.
