Notes from Freda Willingham:

Went to the Grace Keith Genealogical Library in Fayetteville Arkansas. I found the 1900 Day County, Oklahoma Census
Records. It was taken May 1900,

Has Duncan W. Brinkley as Head of House,
White Male born Jan. 1871 age 29
married for 10 years, birthplace is
Texas, *Father's birthplace is Mississippi, Mother's birthplace is Arkansas, can't read his occupation but it looks like Sloet or Sloek Herdu or Herder months employed is 0, yes on can read, write and speak English.

I also found the 1910 La Center, Clarke County, Washington Census Records that has Duncan W. Brinkley Head of House, White Male age 39 married for 20 years born in Texas,

* Father's birthplace is Louisiana, Mother's birthplace is Arkansas, occupation Saio Mill, number of months employed is 0.

* There is a difference on the Father's birthplace. Father's
birthplace on Death Certificate also has Mississippi. But Millie has a Bible Record that list Duncan's father born in Louisiana. We have also found James born in Louisiana in Census Records.

Notes From Freda Willingham:

The Family history that has been passed down is that Duncan W. Brinkley died from injuries he sustained in a logging accident in the state of Washington. I have a Death Certificate that has the Doctor first saw him on August 22, 1910 to August 29, 1910 and that he was last seen alive by the Doctor on August 29, 1910. He died from Bulbar Paralysis. The undertaker was J.P. Finley & Co., I have been in contact with the Funeral Home but they told me that their records had been destroyed by fire for that time period. The information given on the Death Certificate was given by Sallis Brinkley (this was Duncan's wife). Address given was Lancaster, Washington. The Doctor that registered the Certificate was R. G. Back, MD. I have been told that Duncan was a member of the Masons and that they helped in bring him back to Oklahoma for burial.
