Clarissa Malinda Sanders was the daughter of Asa Sanders and Lurana Brown Luna. She was first married to William Hensley about 1847 in Van Buren, Arkansas. They had six children. William served in the CSA Army and was given a medical discharge and sent home. He died in December, 1864.
