Adolph H. Aden, 85, of Amarillo, died Monday, March 30, 1998.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Bob Miller, pastor of South Georgia Baptist Church, and the Rev. Robert Field of Southeast Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Clinton Cemetery at Clinton, Okla.
Mr. Aden was born in Foss, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for the past 15 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was one of the founders of the Clinton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4465.
He was owner and operator of a television repair shop. He was a lifetime member of the Lions Club and the VFW. He was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church.
Mr. Aden was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Aden, in 1983. He married Juanita Bates in 1983 at Clinton.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Glenna Hegstead of Sun City, Ariz.; a son, John Aden of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a stepson, Larry Bates of Amarillo; a sister, Clara Willsey of El Reno, Okla.; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 13 stepgreatgrandchildren.
The family will be at 4224 Jackson.
