Mrs. J.M. Adair died at the home of her son, A.S. Adair in Tulsa Monday, Feb. 13. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. R.K. McGregor at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Punneo northeast of Carnegie at 3 p.m. Wednesday and interment was made in the Carnegie cemetery.
Sarah Jane Cooper was born June 22, 1855 and died Feb. 13, 1928, being 72 years, 8 months and 21 days of age at the time of her death. She was married to J.M. Adair in 1876 and to this union eight children were born, six of whom are A.S. Adair, Tulsa; Mrs. Eliza Hamilton, Eakly; and Mrs. Edna Punneo, J.L. Adair and Jane Adair of Carnegie. She is also survived by one brother, W.C. Cooper of this place.
