Addison Funeral Is Held Sunday
Funeral services for Golden S. Addison, who died of a sudden heart attack near his home near Binger last Thursday, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Oney Baptist Church.
Mr. Addison, who was 67 years old, had left his home apparently to go hunting when he suffered the heart attack. His body was found about a quarter of a mile from his home late Thursday afternoon.
Born on March 28, 1888, at Glencoe, Ark., he was married November 4, 1923, to Hazel Childress at Bradley, Okla.
He came to Caddo county in 1923. He was a member of the Oney Baptist church.
Survivors include: his wife of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Frankie Louise Sharp, Fort Cobb; one brother, Jim Addison, Lindsay; and one sister, Mrs. Laura Lynch, Fort Cobb.
He was preceded in death by a son in 1929, and one brother.
The funeral services were under the direction of Rev. John Fleming, pastor of the Oney Baptist church, and burial was at the Carnegie cemetery.
Pall bearers were: H.H. Mason, Monroe Elliott, Alva Sharp, Floyd Bradley, Boyd Spencer and James Didier. Honorary pall bearers were: Elmer Compton, W.N. Bryson, Paul Bedwell and T.C. Potter.
