Funeral services for Ed BRYAN, father of W. C. BRYAN, mayor of Perryton will be held Friday afternoon, 2:30 o’clock, at the local Methodist church with Rev. W.B. Vaughn, pastor in charge. Interment will be in the family lot in the Bethany cemetery in Oklahoma.
The deceased was a man of generous impulses and never forgot the hospitable ways of the pioneer. He was born in North Carolina on August 23, 1850. He came with his family to Beaver County, Okla., in 1910 and made that his home until his move to Perryton in 1928.
Besides a devoted wife he leaves one daughter, Mrs. J. U. MITCHUSSON, Goodwill, Okla., and four sons, W. C., J. L. and Guss of Perryton and Walker of Gray, Okla., a number of grand and great-grand children and a host of loving friends.
