Funeral services for James Charles Albin, age 64 of McAlester, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Bishop Chapel of Memories in McAlester with pastor Larry Jones officiating.
Interment will be at the Arapaho Cemetery at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Albin died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at McAlester Regional Health Center. He was born on Feb. 15, 1942 in Clinton, the son of Cecil and Eva Mae Earnhart Albin.
A 1960 alumnus of Clinton High School, he was in the oilfield business for most of his life and lived for many years in Pampa, Texas where he owned and operated Gray Trucking, Inc.
He moved to Shamrock, Texas in the early 1990's where he resided until he moved to McAlester this past October.
He attended the Missionary Baptist Church in McAlester.
Preceding him in death, along with his parents, was his wife, Bobbi Albin.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bishop Funeral Service in McAlester.
Survivors include three daughters, Kim McAdoo and her husband, Mike, of Wichita, Falls, Texas, Robin Warren and her husband, Aaron, of Chickasha, Debbie Shilling and her husband, John, of McAlester; four grandchildren, Aaron Cochran of Pampa, Texas, Mitch Shilling of Chickasha, Mikayla McAdoo of Wichita Falls, Texas, Brennen Warren of Chickasha; a great grandchild, Avery Cochran of Pampa, Texas; two sisters, Vaunch Albin of Wichita Falls, Texas, Leona Phillips of West Virginia; and a brother, Sonny Albin and his wife, Sue, of Madill.
