Mrs. O.E. Shaw Dies Sunday In Kansas City Hospital
Mrs. O.E. Shaw died at St. Mary's hospital in Kansas City, Mo. Sunday evening, Jan. 21. The body arrived in Carnegie at noon today and funeral services will be held at the Alden Baptist church at 2:30 this afternoon.
Mrs. Shaw is a daughter of Mrs. W.F. Calder and formerly lived in the Alden community. She is survived by her husband and two sons, aged nine and eleven.

Goldie Fay Calder was born at Tipton Kans. May 20, 1926 aged 29 years, 7 months and 11 days.
At the age of 9 years she moved with her parents near Alden, Okla. where she lived most of her life. At the age of seventeen she was united in marriage to Orsen E. Shaw. To this union was born two sons, Alfred and Lewis aged 9 and 11 years. In 1917 she was converted and united with the Baptist church at Alden where she was always true in her faith. She was a most loving and affectionate wife and mother. She was a member of one of the Rebecca lodges of Kansas City where she has been on the drill work for the past two years.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two sons, her mother, Mrs. W.F. Calder, one sister, Mrs. Grace Johnson and three brothers, Cecil, Leo and Wayne Calder and many other relatives and friends.
