Harold Wayne Aaron was born at Arlington, SD on Aug. 11, 1930, the son of Carl Raymond and Alice E. (Stratmeyer) Aaron. He lived in the Canton-Lennox area with his mother, Alice (Stratmeyer) Hill and siblings. He graduated from Lennox High School in 1948.
On Oct. 14, 1951 he was united in marriage to DeLores Jonason at Scandia Lutheran Church in Centerville. They lived in Lennox, briefly in Centerville and then moved to Sioux Falls where they had since lived. He was most recently employed at and retired from Walmart.
Harold was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. He had taught Sunday School, served on the church council and was an usher in his churches in Lennox, Centerville and Sioux Falls.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Doreen, in infancy and one grandson, Theodore Brass.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, DeLores; three daughters and their husbands: LaVinnia Pierson and Richard of San Jose, CA, Lori Aaron-Brass and Jim Brass of St. James, MN and Lyn Hahn and Ray of Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren: LaRissa, Rachelle and Linnea Pierson, Greggory and Jazanne Brass, Hannah and Samuel Hahn; one sister, Annetta Fodness of Lennox and one brother, Richard Aaron of Sioux Falls.
