Death Takes Mrs. Ahern
Resident for Lifetime Here; Ill Three Weeks

Mrs. James Ahern, 27, of 2031 Mondamin ave., a lifetime resident of Des Moines, died Sunday morning at Mercy hospital following an operation. She had been ill three weeks.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Catholic church. Burial will be at St. Ambrose cemetery.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Cornelius and James, jr.' three sisters, Mrs. Maude Riley, Mrs. Mary Luka and Mrs. Betty Snodgrass, all of Des Moines; and one brother, Steve Dempsey, Kansas City, Mo.
