Ellen Victoria Anderson, daughter of Alfred and Hedwig Ahlquist, was born in Sweden July 6,1884. At the age of 6 years she came to America with her parents and settled on a farm in the Kiron area, where she attended school, later the family moved to a farm near Sioux City.

She was united in marriage to Addic Anderson April 30,1913 and lived on the same family farm in Hayes township northwest of Kiron until her death. Four children were born to them, 1 daughter, and 3 sons.

She died at the Memorial Hospital in Denison March 30,1954 at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 24 days.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Kiron.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband, daughter, Eileen, sons, Wilbur, Arthur, and Lloyd of Kiron; three brothers, Edgar of Hartford, SD, Harold of Bronson, Edwin of Lawton; three sister, Mrs. Otto Dose of Ida Grove, Mrs. George Dreessen of Westside, Mrs. Edith Austin of Denver, Co.

Services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical Free Church in Kiron, Rev. Marion Robey and Rev. Vernon Olson officiated with burial in the Kiron Cemetery.
