She was born in Wisconsin April 22, 1874 but spent practically all of her life in Iowa. She was one of the women graduates of the University of Chicago having first attended Smith college for women.
Mrs Allison is survived by three sons, Sherman Allison of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr M P Allison of Northwood and Dr A F Allison of Marshalltown; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in State Center, the Daughters of the American Colonists, the Order of Easter Star and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Her services were Tuesday afternoon, March 17, at the Presbyterian Church in State Center with burial in the family plot.
