JOHN A. ANDERSON

STRATFORD - John A. Anderson, 83, died at the Stratford Care Center Thursday afternoon where he had resided the past two weeks. He previously had resided at Ogden Manor.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. at the Stratford Lutheran Church with the Rev. Calvin Rossman officiating and with burial in the Hardin Township Cemetery southwest of Stratford. Friends may call at the Hanson-Stark-Welin funeral home in Stratford Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday at the church until time of service.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Schultz of Webster City; three nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.

He was born Sept. 11, 1893 in Sweden, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anders Gottfred Anderson. He was a retired carpenter and farmer in the Stratford community for many years.

He was a member of the Stratford Lutheran Church.
