Ann C. Adams, 22, of Davenport, formally of Durant, passed away Monday, February 28, 1916, at the home of her parents in Davenport, where she made her home. She had been ill since the first of the month.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 1, from the Frank Adams home in Davenport. The body will then be taken to Durant, where services will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, March 2, from the Gus Stark home in Durant. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Ann Catherine Adams was born November 12, 1893, in Coal Valley, Illinois, the daughter of Frank L. and Margaret (Kuehl) Adams. The family later moved to Durant. She received her education in the Davenport schools and graduated from Davenport West High School. She became employed as an instructor with Brown's Business College for three years, where she was remembered by both students and faculty as an efficient and kind person. In 1909, the family moved to Davenport, where she has since lived. She became employed as a stenographer with the Indian River Farms Company in the Davenport. She never married.

Surviving are her parents, Frank and Margaret Adams of Davenport; her maternal grandparents, Hans and Catharina Kuehl of Davenport; and her aunt and uncle, Anna and Herman Thede.
