OBITUARY OF ANNA EAGAN

Last Saturday the sad news came to Dinsdale that Anna Eagan, of Goldfield had passed away that morning. Anna was born in Peterborough county. Ontario, about the year 1845 and died at Goldfield March 26, 1905. She and her son George came to Tama county in 1870. For a number of years, she kept bouse for her brother, Dan, but after her son married, she made her home with him and was with him at the time of her death. She had a kind, genial disposition and was loved by all who knew her. She leaves two brothers, Dan and Owen, and a sister, Mrs. Cunningham, to mourn her loss. A short service was held at Gold fled and the remains were brought to Dinsdale, accompanied by her son, two nephews, John and Manson Cunning bam, and George White. A large circle of friends met the body at the depot and followed it to the church, where Rev Litts preached a short sermon. The remains were laid to rest beside her mother and brother In the Dinsdale cemetery.

G. F. Eagan and Manson Cunningham of Goldfield, and John Cunningham, of Eagle Grove, who came to Dinsdale to attend the funeral of Miss Eagan, were In Traer Wednesday.
