There is a birth and death record for Max in Wapello County. He was not listed in the WPA readings for the cemetery. I have not seen a gravestone for Max in the cemetery, and I do not know if there ever was a stone for him.

AMSBAUGH–Monday, July 20, 1908, at 3:30 p.m. at the late residence, 521 Jay Street, Max, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Amsbaugh. Funeral today at 1 p.m. from the residence, conducted by Rev. John W. Pool. Interment at Bladensburg.
