Virginia Ann Clouston, 80, passed away July 11. 2008 in Overland Park, Kansas. Virginia was born July 11. 1928 at York, Nebraska to Homer and Winfred Meserve. She grew up in Lushton, Nebraska and at the age of 14 moved to Wichita.
She married George Clouston on October 7, 1948 and they raised their family together in the Ness City area for over 45 years. She enjoyed a career as a registered nurse and along with her husband operated Clouston Kennels. Virginia was also a representative for Nationwide Advertising Specialty Company and operated a wedding photography business for a short time.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula (Guy) Branson of Leawood, Kansas, Karen (Keith) Beauchamp of Olathe, and Debra (Gary) Seney of Las Vegas, her son David (Jeri) Clouston of Salina, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 2005 and her brother, Homer, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 15 at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Ness City, Kansas. There will be a Recitation of the Rosary Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzerald Funeral Home in Ness City. The family suggests memorials to the Alzhelmer's Association.
