Graveside services for Richard Ulysses Bouray were Monday forenoon in the Rosemound (sic) Cemetery south of Hardy. He died Sunday, May 9, in his home in Hutchinson at the age of 52 years, 4 months and 16 days.
He was born Dec. 22, 1935, on a farm south of Hardy to John Henry and Alisleen (sic) Mae Hobson Bouray. After attending Star School for eight years, he attended Hardy High School four years.
In February, 1956, he enlisted in the Navy. He married Barbara Van Meter Jan. 25, 1959, of Lovewell. After his discharge from the Navy in December, 1960, the family moved to Republic. Two sons, Ray of Hesston, Kan., and Roy of Haven, Kan., were born to this union. In 1966 the family moved to Hutchinson where he worked the Consolated Re-Manufacturing Company.
Survivors are his two sons, Ray and Roy; two grandsons, Curtis Alan and Ryan Lee; three sisters, Mrs. George Hull (Genevieve) of Red Cloud, Mrs. Clare Osborne (Geraldine) of Formoso and Mrs. Duane Kintigh (Vivian) of Courtland; two brothers, Lawrence Bouray and Wilmer Bouray, both of Courtland; 21 nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.
