Ed was born December 12, 1919 in Riverton, KS. His parents were Clarence and Grace (Evans) Bond.
He returned to Riverton in 1946.
He worked at Gulf Oil Company, Riverton, KS until his retirement in 1971.
He was the oldest living member of the Spring River Boat and Ski Club and the Galena Elks Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing golf.
Ed was married to Juanita Belle Young on Sept 25, 1940 in Joplin, MO. She passed away August 17, 2007.
Surviving is one son, Terry Bond, Riverton, KS; one brother, Clyde (wife, Esther) Bond, Riverton, KS; 4 grandchildren, David Bond, Tawnya Bond, James Bond, and Shana Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home for cremation.
A memorial graveside service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday May 27, 2015 at Quaker Valley Cemetery Riverton, KS.
