Homer then married Ida Estys Feb 1920 in Horton.
They had 11 children. They moved to Talmage area from Brown co., in 1914; died 6 December 1951 in Abilene hospital; survived by his wife; 6 sons, Howard of Wichita, Tom of Davenport, Iowa; Hugh of Abilene; Elmer of Herington, Orville of Bavaria; Richard of the home; 5 daughters, Dolly Cairns and Miss Allie Allen of Abilene; Shirley, Barbara and Betty at home; 9 grandchildren; 1 brother, Hiram of Abilene, 4 sisters, Mrs. Jess (Nancy) Gilbert of Topeka, Mrs. Jack (Cora) Loades and Mrs. Cleve Stoffer of Abilene, Mrs. Edward Blue of Salina.
