Passed away in the Kearny County Hospital. In April 1909 Mr. Armstrong came with his parents to Kearny County and lived on one of the last homesteads of the county about 17 miles northwest of Lakin. Later he moved to Lakin and worked at the trades of plumbing and carpentry until his death. He also carried the mail on the North Star mail route for eight years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Emma, and three brothers, Albert, Robert and Ernest.
He is survived by two sisters Mrs. Mabel Bruner of Kendall, KS, and Carrie Armstrong of the home......
