"Ross Clark, aged 59, who lived on Snokomo for 40 years and later near Manhattan, died Sunday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lloyd E. Manning, 1028 Kellam Ave., Topeka, where he had lived the past seven years. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by eight sons, Harry of Washington; Henry of East Stanwood, Wash.; Harley, Harvey, Homer and Howard, all of Manhattan; Harold of Omaha, and Herman of Topeka; four sisters, Martha Bundy of Eskridge, Mary Kitt, Lizzie Tiffey, and Flora Wilson of Maple Hill; three brothers, Harvey Clark of Topeka, and Fred and William Clark of Maple Hill and five grandchildren. His funeral services were held Wednesday in Topeka and burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery on Snokomo. Ross Clark had a lot of friends in this county because he was a friendly man, a good neighbor and citizen. He will surely be missed."
