OBITUARY.
Elizabeth Gertrude Kiwitter was born March 8, 1846, in Westphalia, Germany. She came to Kansas 1881. Was married to Theodore Bierman, August 28, 1868. To this union was born seven children, two having died in infancy and five children survived her, two sons and three daughters, Theodore Bierman, of Burlingame, Kansas; Mrs. H.C. Wilke and Mrs. Raymond Selby, living near Allen. Beside her children she leaves one brother and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. She died December 9, 1914, in Burlingame, Kansas, age 68 years, 3 months and 1 day. She has gone to a better country to join her husband who preceeded her several years ago. The funeral services were conducted by Father Dehan of Ottawa, Kansas. Interment was in the Allen cemetery.
