RANDOLPH Norman F. "Mickey" Ayers, Sr., a lifelong resident of Randolph, died September 11 at Tower Hill Center. He was 89. Mickey was a master plumber and former Superintendent of the Randolph Water Dept. Beloved husband of the late Catherine M. (Walsh) Ayers. Father of Michael J. Ayers, Stephen J. Ayers, James F. Ayers, Maureen I. Iskra and Catherine Shiavone, all of Randolph and Norman F. Ayers, Jr. of Hanover. Brother of Robert M. Ayers of Randolph and the late George and Esther Ayers, Marguerite O'Neil, Florence Sass and Ruth Charmers. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St., (Rte. 28) Randolph, Tuesday at 8:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Late U.S. Navy WW II Veteran.
