Mrs. Elaine L. Angeley, 74, of Rockland, formerly of Whitman and Abington died Friday, April 30, 2004 at the Queen Ann Nursing home in Hingham. The daughter of the late Angus S. and Sarah A. (McGonnagle) Ferguson, she was born in Weymouth on February 27, 1930. Mrs. Angeley was a 1947 graduate of Rockland High School. She had worked for 33 years at Armstrong World Industries in Braintree. She started in general production and was later promoted to Manager. She was devoted to her church and family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting and educational TV shows. She was a long time member of the Holy Family 1 of 5 generation and loved going to Scituate Harbor. She was also a worker and supporter of the Rockland Cardinal Baseball Team in the Cranberry League.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Angeley, 3 daughters, Paula E. Whitley of Marietta GA, Kerrie J. Betor of Dartmouth MA and Margaret A. Huxley of Mashpee MA, 2 brothers, Angus Stark Ferguson of Rockland and Donald F. Ferguson of Hanson, 3 sisters, Joan M. Senecal of Somerset, Esther M. LaFlemme of Rockland and Lauren A. Frame of Braintree. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Monday, May 3, 2004 at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street in Rockland. Internment in Holy Family Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 41-45 East Water Street in Rockland on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
