Cyrus Morris Dodd graduated, Class of 1855, at Williams College; taught Latin at Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, Pa., and then at Indiana State University. In 1869 at the invitation of President Mark Hopkins he accepted the chair of Mathematics at Williams College, remaining until his death in 1897.
