Ivory Bedell was the son of Charles and Catharine Bedell.
Siblings, as listed on the 1850 Census, South Berwick, York, Maine:
Charles Harriet James Louisa TImothy (Ivory) Dorothy
Ivory married Ella L. Buzzell of South Berwick, Maine, Jan. 11, 1876. The couple resided in South Berwick. The 1880 Census for this couple shows them living without children in the household. Ivory is a "teamster."
Ivory and Ella appear to have had just one son, Harry Bedell. The 1910 Census shows Harry and his wife, Grace F. living in the household of Ivory and Ella. Ivory's occupation is listed as "laborer," and son Harry's is listed as "conductor" for a railroad.
In 1920, Ivory is widowed. We find him living with Sarah F. Warren, his sister, a widow.
Ivory's 1930 Census record (name wrongly transcribed as "Mory/Amory Bedell") is still living with his sister, Sarah F. Warren. Sarah is the head of household. Ivory is 81.
