Harry 0. Abraham, age 86, of W6285 State Road 67, Plymouth, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Valley View Medical Center, where he had been a patient for the last four days. He was born on Dec. 26, 1916, in the Town of Plymouth, a son of the late Herman and Hattie Hueppchen Abraham. He attended Victor Grade School in the Town of Plymouth. On May 14, 1939, he married Ruby Hintz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cascade. The couple farmed in the Town of Mitchell for eight years and then on the family homestead from 1947 until 1981. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, where he served as an elder and trustee in the church. He served on the Plymouth Coop Board of Directors and also on the Farmers Home Administration Board (FHA). He enjoyed card playing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also spent time on the farm after his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Ruby of the Town of Plymouth; two sons, Lee (Karen) Abraham of Random Lake and Terry (Janice) Abraham of the Town of Plymouth; one daughter, Carol (Ray) Marvin of Tomahawk; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Hintz of North Fond du Lac and Edna Bennethum of Sacramento, Calif.; and one brother-in-law, Gilbert (Mary) Hintz of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Debbie Mueller; one brother, Ernst Abraham; and one sister, Emma Liebau. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Rev. Thomas Burton and Rev. Craig DuBois, pastors of the church, will co-officiate. Burial will be in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
