Ronald J. Lambert of Dresser died Friday April 26th at the St. Croix Good Samaritan Center at the age of 68.
Ronald was born June 4, 1944 in DeKalb, IL to Sidney and Oline Lambert. He served in the US Army during Vietnam and was honorably discharged. He married his wife Marge on June 28, 1980 at the United Methodist church in St. Croix Falls. He worked at Northwire for 15 years as Plant Manager. He then managed the Little Store in Dresser. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, birding, socializing with friends, making people smile, especially playing Santa Claus in the area.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, sister Karen Harrolle and step-son Philip. He is survived by his wife Marge, step-daughter Lori Waalen of Osceola, grandsons Stephen (Mimi) Waalen of New Richmond, Jason (Kelly) Waalen of Osceola, Ryan (Kayla) Waalen of Somerset, great-grandson Ethan Waalen, brother Everett (Sharon) Lambert of Kenosha, WI., sister Patricia (Kenneth) Freye of Lake thunderbird, IL., mother-in-law Beatrice Walby of Dresser and brother-in-law Wayne Hancock of Dresser.
One hour prior to the service on Wednesday
Memorial service 11 AM Wednesday May 1st at the Grandstrand Funeral Home, Osceola. Military Honors by the St. Croix Falls American Legion will follow.
