The son of Roy and Lena Imler Claycomb, on 5/7/1937 he married Helen Hampton, who survives. Predeceased by siblings Carroll, Elinor and Robert. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: Paul, Larry and Betty, 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was a teacher for 41 years, in addition to being a dairy farmer. He enjoyed singing, fishing and traveling through all 50 states and several other countries.
