Norman Buschmann, 69, 336 N. Geneva, Sturgeon Bay, died suddenly Thursday evening, Dec. 15 at Door County Memorial Hospital
He was born in Sturgeon Bay Dec. 21, 1924 to Carl and Mabel (Londo) Buschmann. He lived in the Milwaukee area for 40 years, working as a welder for Western Metal. He returned to Sturgeon Bay in 1989. He was a veteran of World War II, serving from 1944-46 in the European theatre. He was involved with the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Buschmann was a member of the National American Legion of Milwaukee and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
In January, 1951 he married Dorleen Stoneman in Sturgeon Bay.
She survives along with four children, Judy Lazarczyk, West Allis; John, West Allis; Mary (Ron) Berger, Milwaukee; and Debbie (Peter) Vagnini, LaCrosse; four grandchildren; three brothers, Darrel (Phyllis), Green Bay; Bob (Eilene) Sturgeon Bay; and Dale (Ruth), Sturgeon Bay; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Buschmann, Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Milton.
