LIVINGSTON - Doris May (Hitchcock) Allen, age 84, of Livingston, died on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at home. Doris was born on March 18, 1920, in Rewey, the daughter of Owen and Helen (Steinborn) Hitchcock. She graduated from Rewey High School. She married Keith Allen on Nov. 5, 1938, in Dubuque, Iowa. Doris and Keith farmed in the Livingston area their entire life and enjoyed square dancing in their younger years. Doris was a life long member of the Livingston United Methodist Church. She is survived by eight children, Sandra (Mervin) Wunderlin of Livingston, Shirley (Tom) Keepers of Port Charlotte, Fla., Patty (Dave) Parrish of Minneapolis, Minn., Karen (Dick) Wagner of Janesville, Donna (Jack) Jinkins of Dodgeville, Jackie (Fred) Masbruch of McFarland, Jeff (Becky) Allen of Livingston, and Dan (Jill) Allen of Livingston; 21 grandchildren, Rita (Wunderlin) Hubschman, Robin (Wunderlin) Lenz, Rusty Wunderlin, Renee (Keepers) Gundlach, Tracy Keepers, Natalie (Keepers) Salmines, Lisa (Rowe) Gobin, Chris Rowe, Corrie (Rowe) Morvari, Betty (Wagner) Murley, Kevin Wagner, Laurie Jinkins, Chuck Jinkins, Julie (Jinkins) Derr, Todd Jinkins, Kari Jinkins, Curt Masbruch, Angie (Masbruch) Delancey, Brent Allen, Chad Allen, and Josh Allen; 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Steinhoff of Madison and Linda Barth of Janesville; a brother, Carl Hitchcock of Kohler; and three sisters-in-law, Emmeline Brun, Dorothy (Homer) Harris and Ruth Wiettenhiller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith, on June 17, 2000; three brothers, Ted, Robert and Albert Hitchcock; two sisters, Nell Johns and Nanette Francis; and a great-grandson, Anthony Lenz. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at the LIVINGSTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, with Pastor John Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Rock Church Cemetery, rural Livingston.
