Delavan - Conrad Amend, 85, Millard, died in Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Friday.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Amend Sr., he was born in Germany July 25, 1875. He had resided in this area for 31 years.
Surviving are five sons, Reinhold, of Palmyra, Edward, of Elkhorn, Alfred of Peoria, Aaron of Lake Geneva, and Arthur, of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Alma Peterson, New Berlin, Mrs. Flora Peterson and Mrs. Lydia McKay, Burlington; one brother, George, and a sister, Mary Amend, Lincoln, Neb.; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Monroe Funeral Home, the Rev. Harold Gonseth officiating. Burial will be in the Millard Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday.
