Age 56, passed away at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday morning unexpectedly. He was born August 14, 1914 in Menasha and was a life long resident of Menasha. He was production manager of the Northwestern Electro Type Company. He was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, the John A. Bryan Lodge no. 98, F & AM, the Elks Club and the Germania Society, he was past State President of the Legion of Honor Demolay, Honorary Legion of Honor, Master Councilor-Demolay, the Past Master of the John A. Bryan Lodge no. 98, F & AM, a member of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, State of Wisconsin; the Island City Chapter no. 23, Northeastern Wisconsin Lodge of Perfection and the Northeastern Council of Prince of Jesualeum. Survivors are his wife, Olive; his mother, Mrs. Clara Meyer, Menasha; two sons, Richard W. and George W., both of Menasha; 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kenneth Walstrom officiating, with interment in Lake Side Cemetery, Summit Lake, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the Brown Funeral Chapel from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday. There will be Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. and the Elks Memorial Service at 8 p.m. Thursday evening. A memorial has been established in his memory.
