Fish Creek --- The Rev. J. W. Stedman read the final rites for William E. Herman, 55, at the Gibraltar Evangelical United Brethren church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial was in the Baileys Harbor cemetery.
Betty Gluger and Jeanne Reinhard song "Abide With Me" and "Blest Be the Tie That Binds." Pallbearers were Oscar Reinhard, Vernon Williams, Otto Walter, Herman Berichahn, Ervin Franks and Henry Stenzel.
Mr. Herman, who had been ill for two weeks, died last Wednesday at the Memorial hospital. Cause of death was a stroke with complications.
Born July 29, 1894, in Fish Creek, Mr. Herman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Herman. Mr. Herman was a farmer by occupation.
Surviving are a brother, Lawrence, and and two sisters, Ida, Fish Creek, and Mrs. Albert Isaacson, Ellison Bay. Here from out of town-for the last rites were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Borehardt, Mrs. Adela Westfahl, Gerald Westfahl and Mrs. Arthur Hafeinan, Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schaefer, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Guenther, Mrs. Lizzie Kortsehl and Miss Anna Guenther, Port Washington, Wis.
