the 1900 census: Auburndale township she and her husband Ferdinand were living with their son William. It reflects their ages as Ferdinand age 60 born Germany and Wilhelmina age 64 born Germany and in the "birth year" for Ferdinand "April 1840"
She married Ferdinand Budtke August 1865- we now have the GERMAN marriage record from: Karkow, Saatzig-Pomerania- Caroline Wilhelmine Bartelt and Christian Friedrich Ferdinand Buttke shows his age 25 and her age 30."

Her obit says, "73, a resident of Wisconsin since coming to America when she was 3 yrs old." "born: nee: friederika Budtke- Germany 10 June 1870." The informant gave her mother's name wrong, it was Caroline not Catherine.
Now,according to the daughters marriage record to Albert Aug. Carl Mews (Meus) Friedericka's mother's maiden name was: Bartelt. Albert was the husband and his father's name was: Frederick Mews and his mother was Caroline Turow. and the date of the marriage is: 6th DECEMBER 1888. Friederika was then 18 years. The marriage license I received from Sandy Middleton, Thank you.
