Sherril A. Affeldt, 60, of Black Creek, died Friday evening, Sept. 3, 2004, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour after a short courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 2, 1944, daughter of the late Manuel and Fern (Decker) Anderson.
On Nov. 7, 1964, she was united in marriage to Louis Affeldt in Navarino. Sherry was employed as a Operation specialist for the Oneida Nation. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino. She loved cooking, shopping, traveling and loved life, period.
Survivors include her husband, Louis; one son, Louis III (Butch) and special friend, Linda Schwobe; her three grandchildren, Louis IV, Chistopher and Joshua; two brothers, Larry Anderson, Neenah, and Lee (Bev) Anderson, Oneida; one sister, Lori (Gary) Froehlich, Seymour; nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Madeline Affeldt, Shiocton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Shirley (Dave) Smith, Menasha, Bev (Roger) Wilfuer, Appleton, Raymond (Ellen) Affeldt, Oconto, Kenneth Affeldt and special friend, Julie, Shiocton, and Doug Talady, Appleton; special friends, Kathy and Darrell Krueger, Black Creek.
Preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Linda; and father-in-law, Louis Sr.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Theodore Hendricks officiating. Burial in the Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
