CHARLES ARNOLD RITES ARE HELD
Funeral rites were held at Indianapolis this morning for Charles C. Arnold, 83, retired railroad conductor and father of Leo K. Arnold, of Indianapolis, who is well known in Decatur county. Following the rites as Indianapolis, burial was at Dayton in Tippecanoe county. Mr. Arnold passed away at his home at 1010 North New Jersey street Thursday, after a six weeks' illness. Born in Harrison, Ohio, he had lived in Indianapolis 70 years. he had been a conductor for the old Lake Erie Railroad. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors are three sons, Leo K. Arnold, Elmer W. Arnold and Arthur C. Arnold; one brother, Richard C. Arnold, and three grandchildren, all of Indianapolis. The son, Leo K. Arnold; married Miss Gladys Donnell, of Kingston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Donnell.Greensburg Daily News, Saturday, May 3, 1941)
