Lillian Anders, 82, of Leesburg, Florida, died Saturday, April 23rd. She was born July 24, 1928 at Fulton, Indiana. She was the daughter of Frank and Blanche Joice James. She was married to Norman G. Anderson July 24, 1946 at Logansport, Indiana. As a former Logansport Resident she received her schooling there.
She was a long time member of Christ United Methodist and Community United Methodist at Fruitland Park. Lillian was a 53 year member of The Order of the Eastern Star and Past Matron in 1978. She joined the order of the Amaranth in 1978 and served as Royal Matron. She has been very active throughout the years in these Masonic affiliated organizations.
Lillian is survived by her husband of 65 years, Norman Anders; three children, Terry Lee Anders, Plymouth, IN; Sandra Anderson; and Danice Weaver, Fort Wayne. Four Grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Debra Alice Anders in 2000, by sisters, Elizabeth Wilson, Jessie Marie Isaacs and her twin sister, Marian Brandt also of Fort Wayne.
Visitation services will be held Tuesday, April 26th from 5-7 PM at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg. Funeral services will be entrusted to Fisher Brothers Mortuary at Logansport, IN. Burial will be at Victor Chapel Cemetery, Royal Center, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes Research on behalf of The Order of the Amaranth.
