Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Full Gospel Holiness Church at Hulbert for Clarence Edward Dodd, 70, of Coweta who died Wednesday, May 7, 1980, in a broken Arrow nursing home. Rev. Bob Roberts officiated. Burial was in Mr. Zion Cemetery, east of Holbert, under direction of Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
Dodd was born April 3, 1910, in Cherokee County. He lived in the Coweta-Porter area since 1943 and was a retired farmer.
Survivors are his wife, Edith of the home; three sons, Charles Dodd of Dallas, Texas, Everett Dodd of Coweta, Daniel Dodd of Broken Arrow; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Hogan of Dallas; four brothers, Jim and Ray Dodd, both of Tahlequah, Bob Dodge of Texas City, Texas, Charles Alvin of Porter; five sisters, Mrs. Bessie Tipton, Mrs. Thelma Johnson, Mrs. Millie Siler, Mrs. Leola Robinson and Pauline Dodd, all of Tahlequah; four grandchildren and four step grandchildren.
