Terry J. Basham, 50, of DeMotte, passed away 12, 2013 at his home. Terry was born July 2, 1962 at Hammond, Indiana, the son of John H. and Bonnie (Tate) Basham. Terry attended North Newton Schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Terry worked for the Post Tribune and Rensselaer Republican newspapers. He is survived by three brothers, Tony, Tracy, Troy; one sister, Tina; special friend, Judy; and two special grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Private family services will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2013 with private internment at the Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, Indiana. Boersma Funeral Home was entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
