Diane Marie (Phair) Abplanalp, 39, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at Methodist Hospital. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born Oct. 23, 1959, in Winsted, Conn. Her mother is Patricia Hurd of Indianapolis. Other survivors include her husband, Dean Abplanalp of Franklin; a daughter, Jennifer J. Blankenship of Franklin; a son, Jon N. Blankenship of Franklin; a sister, Darlene R. Aguilar of Franklin; three brothers, Jerry L. Phair of Greenwood, Gary A. Phair of Whiteland and Larry C. Phair of Cincinnati; and a grandmother, Vana Johnson of Pinemeadow, Conn.
She was a 1977 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
She was employed by Rush Financial & Mid-West Title Co. in Greenwood as a closer. She was previously employed in the loan department at Franklin Bank & Trust for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Hillview Country Club. She was active with Franklin Little League and enjoyed Franklin Community High School athletic programs such as volleyball and golf.
The Rev. Paul M. Shikany will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Franklin. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
