Born April 14, 1940 in Monroe County, Indiana to Ralph and Mary (Huber) Cain.
Buck graduated from Smithville High School in 1958, he was a Army veteran serving in Germany. He was an avid Fox Hunter who loved to take his son Emery with him, he was a talker, a teller of tall tales, our family reunions will never be the same. He never met a stranger.
Buck is survived by his wife Eva (White) Cain, son Emery (Joy) Cain. Step children Debbie Ramsey, Thomas White, his granddaughter Kaitlyn Picou and two step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Sisters Claris Sturgis, JoAnn (Tyrone) Browning, brothers Carl (Mary) Cain, Cecil Cain, Clyde (Bonnie) Cain, Curtis (Theresa) Cain and Calvin (Kathy) Cain. He has several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Rochelle Picou, sisters Alice Scott and Christine Cain, brother Charles (Popeye) Cain, his first wife Carol (Hillenburg) Cain, his second wife LeeAnna (Miller) Cain, step children Doug White and Robin Callway.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday and 10 A.M. Friday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Stanford Masonic Lodge # 173 will have a memorial service at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday.
Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Harold Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Fiscus Cemetery near Coal City, Indiana.
