INVALID 14 YEARS DEAD AT CAYUGA
Cayuga (CNS) -- Death ended 14 years of invalidism for Bert Allee, 60, at 2:15 a.m. Monday, April15, 1940, at his home here. He was born April 20, 1879 in Humerick, Illinois, but spent most of his life in Cayuga where he received his education. He was married to Miss Grace Bennett on January 19, 1900. Before his retirement he was a C&EI Railroad foreman in the signal department and was a member of the Modern Woodmen. He had been unable to walk five years. Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Jane McRae of Chicago, Mrs. Garnett Eubanks of New Market, Otis, Maxine, Edna, Bert and Billy Earl, all at home; two brothers, Walter of Frankfort and Ralph of Webb City, Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Smith of Louisville, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Watson's Funeral Home. Burial in Eugene Cemetery.
