THE DEATH OF JACOB BLIZZARD
Jacob W. blizzard, 82, formerly a farmer in Lauramie township, died Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Wabash Valley sanitarium, after an illness of several years. Born in Chillicothe, Ohio, he was twice married, first to Emma Waddell and then to Leona Brady, both of whom are dead. He leaves three sons, William A. and Guy F. Blizzard, Lafayette, and Raymond Blizzard, Mrs. Edith Lockard, also of Lafayette. Body at Baker funeral home, Dayton, after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Services, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Concord U. B. Church.

Note:
Jacob's father William died on 13 Mar 1863 on the Floating Hospital Ship of Nashville. He was a Pvt in Company D of the 114 Ohio Inf. in the Civil War.

Jacob's mother Barbara remarried. Sh married Mr. John Balzar 09 Nov 1864 at Pickaway, OH before. John had a son who was Jacob's Step-brother: George R. Balzar.
